  2. We, as developing Nations are often too concerned about our GDP growth but many of us firmly believe that no civilization on the glob deserves to be recognized as great unless its country is admired for its spectacular contribution towards Art and Culture. This can happen only when there is official patron ship and emphasis for the development of art and culture right from their school education. Culture remains last of our priorities on our national agenda for human development.

In my opinion Yours (PM's vision of new India cannot be cherished unless there is a well defined plan for cultural transformation both for national and the state level.

If we teach our younger ones how to Sing, Dance and Paint or teach them how to appreciate them they would never think of violence. Western countries offer greater emphasis on proper orientation for art and culture because they realize that that this how the school children are humanized as sensitive and enlightened as artists and art lovers. l did draft a cultural policy for my state of Rajasthan but there are no takers.
